Review of Water Lilies (2007) by Jerome G — 04 Nov 2010

Interesting movie about the interactions of 3 girls, although mostly centered around the character of Marie. Marie starts off as friends with Anne, who is in a synchronized swimming class. Although it looks like Marie can also swim, she is not in any classes. While at a demonstration of the different groups at a swimming pool location, Marie sees Floriane, who is the captain of the junior squad of synchronized swimmers, and she appears to take a liking to her. After that, we see how Marie tries to get close to Floriane and we see how Floriane acts and behaves. She's definitely a heartbreaker that one.

I believe the dvd cover said this movie is like a cross between Lolita and another movie, so enjoy it as it is. Although too, the movie is in French but it also has English subtitles to follow along.
