Review of Water Drops on Burning Rocks (2000) by Lokka C — 16 Mar 2008

Quirky and empty characters in a simple story. The story may look good if its in the form of literature or a play with characters narrating their inner thoughts, but as a movie, they didn't show the thoughts of the characters, so we as audience failed to have a connection with them.

I liked the symbolizens that were used in the movie though. There were couple cute moments, but I kept on waiting and waiting, the just never went deeper below the surface of each character.
