Watchmen is a massively underrated gritty action flick as it is intelligent, entertaining, and visually striking. A few quirks in some of the performances hinder it from being great, but it's certainly worth while, while also containing plenty of interesting political debate and offering up many questions about man's cruelty along with the existence or indifference of God.
