Review of Watchmen (2009) by Charles D — 29 Apr 2013
Moore's masterpiece is every bit as shocking and groundbreaking as it was in 1987 when he first wrote it. A stunning deconstruction of the superheo genre, with fascinating characters. Especially rorschach who is a perfectly-crafted anti-hero that draws us in as he revulses us.
The ponderous social and political questions and moral dilemmas are just icing.
