Review of Watchmen (2009) by Phillip D — 07 Nov 2013
Despite the foolishness of the general public, Watchmen is a deeply political and moral beauty of a movie. Fraught with deep symbolism, each re-watch will reveal more and more of the brilliance that makes this movie one of the best.
Featuring a relatively unknown cast that steps perfectly into the role of unknown superheroes, this movie brings together excellent and creative character development, surprisingly exciting and believable powers, as well as an intricate and well planned plot to create one of the great hidden masterpieces.
Watch closely folks, nothing is as it seems in this movie. Take nothing for granted and never underestimate its ability to wow the viewer, even after multiple showings. Also as an added bonus, this movie features one of the best soundtracks of the decade.
The soundtrack fits the movie to a tee and makes for great listening no matter what your thoughts on the movie were.
