Review of Watchmen (2009) by Johnny C — 21 May 2014
"Watchmen'' is based on the DC graphic novel. It stays true to the novel not only by the way it is written, but how it is filmed. It is visually stunning with beautiful cinematography from Larry Fong, and has a great old school vibe to it.
It is hard to follow if you have not read the novel, and it has a complex narrative, but this is made up for by the visuals and performances by the cast. A true comic book adaption. 4.5 stars!
