Zack Snyder did a good job at following Alan Moore's classic graphic novel, a little too much if you ask me; if you've read the graphic novel there is no point in watching the movie and if you've watched the movie there is no point in reading the graphic novel.
On the positive; visually amazing, wonderfully casted and loyal to the classic the film is a treat... If only Zack Snyder was little more independent.
