Review of Watchmen (2001) by David A — 23 Apr 2018
"Watchmen" is one of those rare Zack Snyder films that actually felt decent. However, that's not saying much. It offers nice visuals and performances from the main cast, but the film caters too much on each character's backstories rather than focusing onto the main plot.
However, once it does, you will be already too bored to care. If the film was shorter and leaner, then the film would have suffice. Not all adapted movies benefited from its source material. Sometimes you have to create new scenes to make the story feel more fresh and pop on the screen.
