Review of Watchmen (2001) by Timothy N — 19 Aug 2014
Gritty and visually stunning, Snyder knows how to make a beautiful movie. The opening sequence was one of the best I had ever seen. Having never read the graphic novel and coming into it with a superhero mindset that maybe marvel and DC produces, I definitely had a different expectation.
The story itself is an interesting take on the superhero genre, and gives it a more mature look through the lens of politics and human nature.
