Review of Watchmen (2001) by Austin L — 10 Apr 2016
"Watchmen" is a film noir epic whose characters happen to be masked crimefighters. Jackie Earle Haley's Rorschach is great as the antihero narrator who helps us navigate the tangled array of clashing ideals as channelled through the main players.
Snyder and his screenwriters convey these contrasts with greater complexity than those which Christopher Nolan explores in "The Dark Knight.".
