Review of Wasting Away (2007) by Adam E — 02 Aug 2011
A pretty fun but also very very silly zombie flick that does not take itself to seriously but loses a little of its steam by the end. The premise is great thou and very simple. The small group of infected humans see themselves as normal while the rest of the world sees there actions as zombies.
so while they believe every one else messed up its actually them! Some fine acting and thou its set in present day has a kinda more innocent 50's feel to it. Very little gore but tons of silly cheap laughs.
Shame it gets a little serious near the end but theres loads of nods to zombies behaviour in other movies and this whole film explains quite a lot. Looks like everyone was having fun with this and its certainly a fun movie to sit through.
Nothing thats going to tax your brain but great pop corn fodder!
