Review of Warriors of the Wind (1984) by Kazenotani — 26 Apr 2019
The turning point and a high peak in world film history. This film is the start of the Ghibli era and the reason why we are so fortuned to see films like Spirit away (2001), Grave of the Fireflies (1988), Princess Mononoke (1997) or The Red Turtle (2016).
It also blew people away with its unique theme, even just by using 20% percent of the original story (The original Manga is far more thoughtful and interesting).
