This is a superb movie on so many levels. Great performance by Nick Nolte, and I usually don't go for him. It is violent, at times, but it's the complex family relationships which are the real theme here, not the fighting.
I'm not a fan of fighting of any sort, but I really enjoyed this movie. It has an ending which will make you glad you saw the film. Great performances also by the two brothers in the film.
