Review of Warm Bodies (2013) by Alex T — 03 Oct 2013
Stockholm syndrome disguised as "romance." Chick flick disguised as tepid zombie movie with most conventional zombie traditions and logic thrown out the window in order to service tired rom-com conventions.
I can actually enjoy a good romantic comedy (e.g., Nicholas Hoult was also in the much superior About A Boy), but Warm Bodies is not one of them. Insubstantial, sappy and cloying. The best thing about this movie was the soundtrack.
