Warm Bodies is a quirky tween's dream romance movie. It reanimates a dead genre by introducing new elements which makes the audience question: What is a zombie? This film starts out with strong visual humor but slowly dies down until the last thirty minutes of the movie.
This film is at its strongest when it has an introspective view towards the life of zombies. Looking for a summer block buster with a gimmick, look no further than Warm Bodies. If you were into the twilight hype of the early 2010's, then this movie is just right.
They both have terrible female leads, but at least the main character actually has a soul.
