Review of Warm Bodies (2013) by Garda D — 10 Feb 2014
A totally sweet and cute teen movie romance, but this time its zombies. Who in the right mind think about "Let's make a book about a zombie that fell in love with a human, and then the zombie will feel more human everytime he get closer to the human"? Only Isaac Marion and Jonathan Levine who write the screenplay.
I don't usually watch romance movie but this one was an exceptio, since I like zombie movies then I said hey, Warm Bodies is about a zombies maybe I give it a try. This movie was really good, the performance of Nicholas as a zombie was really good, he puts much effort in it, if you see closely he doesn't blink when he was a zombie, but as he started to feel more human, he started to blink.
The storyline was truly exciting, no whiny moments like most teen romance film, this shows zombie tries to protect human. Sure, I know you'll think that those were a total bullshit and I think so too but that's what makes this movie great! It brings a new and unique love story like we never seen before, Its a well executed zombie-human romance unlike those vampire and human love story we saw! I totally recommend this movie who likes romance or zombies!
