Review of War, Inc. (2008) by Nigel M — 17 Feb 2009
On the face of it I didn't think I'd like this once it started despite my overbearing love of John Cusack. But the annoying (alas also the central character of Duff's) apart it makes some outstandingly funny references to war zones and how big corporations gain from them.
Kingsley is different but no less brilliant and Tomei is very good too but in the background giving a wacky but typical performance is Joan Cusack - she's nuts but brilliant. And when you see the tanks rattling through the streets blowing the f**k out of everything draped in western style advertising you'll get the joke.
Worth the extra half star for the little puns alone.
