Review of War, Inc. (2008) by Dimitra B — 11 Apr 2009
This was Grosse Point Blank 2.0, it worked thanks to bringing back everyone except Jeremy Piven (you could have snuck him in there Cusack). We have us a 5 star movie- because the acting was excellent, the story was funny, yet not (ah satire, you funny- funny thing) the pace of the movie never really lulled etc.
You have John Cusack doing a sort of Fear and Loathing you have the movie doing a sort of Adventures in Babysitting/Fear and Loathing. Topical yes,true- very much so, fake country as so not to draw the heat, yup.
check it out, you'll be surprised how much better it is then Lord of War. Not to diss Nick Cage but sometimes it's nice to laugh from a healthy space, instead of just laughing instead of crying.
Which he does in a lot of his films if you are watching closely.
