Review of War, Inc. (2008) by Committed 2 M — 09 May 2009
Cusack is one of my favourites so he may sometimes get a pass...that being said, this is a Ferocious, Biting Satire about the US. War profiteering to a whole new level, a little over the top,but honestly, I think, probably not that far off from what it's really like.
Cast is superb as usual, with Cusack films. Not Comedic in the sense of funny, but Dark, and definitely not much in the way of hope for the system to change. The redemption of his character is the story that ties it together, but this is a movie about the Bush Administration.
No doubt, and it pulls no punches.
