Review of War, Inc. (2008) by Joshua J — 12 Jul 2009
"War, Inc." is an interesting and penetrating satire, it is well acted, and the writing has some poignant moments. However, something about it didn't click with me. The jabs at U.S. foreign and military policy were overt and plentiful, but after the first 1/2 hour or so, I got the point.
The rest of the movie seemed boring and uninteresting. The movie didn't have enough to say to sustain a feature film. That, combined with the pervasive language, makes this movie a dud. In my opinion, anyway.
