Review of War Horse (2011) by Brian B — 25 Jul 2012
Okay, finally saw this. Been dissapointed with Spielbergs' last few outings, but this movie was quite acceptabe. Nobody really does WWI stories that much. Great cinematography, in this epic story, of a horse's tell/tale journey through the horrors of the England/Germany conflict.
More reminicent of Steven's earlier work. Sometimes feels like a live-action Pixar film. Wasn't 'best picture' quality though.
