Thank you Mr. Spielberg for this movie. what a wonderful story one will find when they decide to buy or rent this hidden gem from 2011. My only regret is not being able to watch it on the big screen when it originally came out.
The cinematography used in this film would have been spectacular to see at the movies. This is a movie the whole family can watch and enjoy. There aren't any super heroes, spies, or alien creatures running around.
It is a simple story about the unbreakable bond between a boy and his horse set during a turbolent time in history and how that bond can even outlast the biggest of obstacles. Do not let the critics and their comments about it being old fashioned scare you away.
If you do then you will have missed one of the great family films of 2011.
