War for the Planet of the Apes continues Caesar's journey with gorgeous visuals and solid action, but I found myself not caring enough about the characters, human or ape, to even consider the themes the film tries to handle.
That paired with a completely unearned and uninspiring conclusion marks a huge step down for an otherwise fantastic trilogy.
