Way way way way way too long. the zoo ape was an awful and unnecessary character. zoo ape = jar jar. If you cut that whole zoo ape scene/intro and had them discover Woody's base in less obnoxious way you could have cut a half hour out of the film with NOTHING lost.
NOTHING. Mostly excellent CGI but the ape walking upright seemed off a bit (legs too short?). Not to mention numerous plot holes and inexplicable behavior by ape and human alike.
