Review of War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) by Ryanthen3Rd — 22 Jul 2017

Biggest selling point right here; it looks beautiful. Some of the best visuals I have ever seen in a movie. Characters are great, story is great, directing and acting are awesome. It's not all good though, the ending feels lazy, and (sort of personal grudge) while the movie spends a lot of time setting up the original 1968 film, it won't go so far as to destroy the statue of liberty.

Also the trailers sell a war, and the movie delivers a stealth mission, so the pacing feels off and the movie feels really slow even though it's not. Bottom line, don't expect action/war movie.
