Review of War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) by Casey T — 18 Jul 2017

I loved this movie so much for everything asides from Nova, or the little girl. Her performance was very frustrating and the way they used her character the only reason she existed was for a sloppy payoff in the final sequence.

I can remember having a blast in so many scenes and then just be interrupted by her musical representation being played and then just seeing some "sad and depressing" thing happen that had no point to be in the film.

Other than this the film was exactly what I expected. A great story told with beautiful visuals and crazy action. Definitely recommend.
