Overall good movie. The CGI/effects of the apes was unbelievable. Decent acting. The problem I had with this movie was how do you get your audience to cheer for apes above humans. The writers tried by painting the villain(Woody Harrelson) as heartless in his cruelty to the apes. Maybe it was the realistic look and acting of the apes.

Apes aren't exactly the cutest animals in the world. Quite the opposite. I just couldn't find myself being won over by Ceasar and his colony. Maybe a little more building of the bond and love for each other at the beginning was needed for me to get hooked by these large chimpanzees and gorillas. In the end very good trilogy. Ultimately, the best thing about it are its visual effects.
