Review of War Dance (2007) by Yvan A — 31 Jul 2008
Fantastic documentary about North Uganda Patongo school kids, all part of the Acholi tribe. It is incredible to me to see all the tragedies they've experienced at such a young age and yet, they have the strength to go on with life even laughing and smiling sometimes.
But their eyes tell way more than what you see on the screen. We have it good, really good and we do not realize it. It is one of these documentaries that opens your eyes about life in general. A must see.
Their traditional war dance, the Bwola, is simply amazing.
