Review of Waltz with Bashir (2008) by Nicole R — 20 Oct 2010
A stunning, brilliant film unlike anything I've ever seen. Technically revolutionary, with a haunting score, this film explores the vagaries of memory, reminiscent of Hiroshima Mon Amour. Aside from the pretentious filmspeak, this film is affecting and engaging in a way I never expected.
One of the best films of the 2000s.
