Review of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010) by Lucas W — 13 Nov 2011
An exciting thriller for anybody who has an interest in the capital market and the players in American corporatism. The movie falls short in its plot however, and the ending is utterly inane. In all honestly, it's not a "great" movie--the characters lack depth, and the plot falls apart--but nonetheless it is exciting for anyone who can understand and appreciate the workings of our economy.
I recommend seeing this is conjunction with Michael Moore's Capitalism A Love Story. The two tell the same story from different perspectives, and in different ways, and together afford any viewer a heightened understanding of the recent financial crisis in a way that the media really hasn't.
