Review of Wall Street (1987) by Mark S — 07 Feb 2011
I wish this movie was more about Gordon Gekko and not so much about Bud Fox because Michael Douglas couldn't be better. As good as Douglas is Daryl Hannah is as bad. This movie seems to capture the 80's in all it's glory and in all it's ridiculousness which makes Wall Street sort of dated, but yet still poignant for today.
Decent movie, but beware of Oliver Stone's heavy handed direction, as always.
