Review of Wall Street (1987) by Calvin C — 23 Apr 2010
Gordon gekko. sigh...my favorite scene is him walking on the beach with his rolled up khakis talkin on that humongous cell phone that looked like a fancy version of what soldiers carry in the field. I didn't even think of watchin this movie when it came out, since I was only 17.
years later, after I matured and started making $, lived on my own, & got some credit cards, I decided to watch this movie to learn about wall street. nah. just pullin your leg. I was in film school & couldn't believe how much I fell in love with the movie.
such a sick film about greed, lies, and selling out. thank you oliver stone for making really long movies about controversial subjects that we never find out the truth about.
