Review of Wall Street (1987) by John E — 07 Sep 2010
Stylish, entertaining flick featuring the slick, morally (but certainly not fiscally) bankrupt Gordon Gekko, someone who is so depraved yet so charming that we can't help but be interested in his wheelings and dealings.
This movie serves as the archetypal --and perhaps stereotypical- 80s rich yuppie film, but it does it so well, it's little wonder that this movie has been referenced as often as it has.
