Review of Wall Street (1987) by Raymund J — 26 Sep 2010
This is a Wall Street movie in the 80's. This a prelude to the new movie Wallstreet: The Money never Sleeps. This is about Gordon Gecko who is a mllionaire and a predator. There is a kid broker named Bud Fox who is very ambitious and was convinced by Gecko that Greed is good.
The turning point of this kid rising to fortune involves deceit, betrayal, and the apprentice becoming the master. This is a very intertaining movie but one must understand the stock market. Lots of insight about insider trading, securities manipulation and coporate raiders.
At the end, it's about ethics versus financial competitivenes ... I can't wait for the new sequel .. From Greed is good to the money never sleeps.... :).
