Review of Wall Street (1987) by Chris H — 28 Dec 2010
Captures the hectic lifestyle of Wall Street.
Of course Michael Douglas shines here. But what really pulls at your heartstrings is Charlie and Martin Sheen having a heart-to-heart late in the film. It's pretty cool to see father and son play father and son.
It's notable, though, that you do need some basic background on stocks in order to fully understand the plot. It moves along quickly, so if you aren't up on your stocks, you'd better either brush up or watch it with someone more knowledgeable than you.
