Review of Wall Street (1987) by Allison F — 06 Sep 2011
Michael Douglas' best performance. This encapsulates the 80s and the United States during that time. This movie is a time capsule and it definitely stands the test of time. I also liked seeing Dr. Cox from Scrubs in this mother fucker also.
Geiko gives a whole bunch of awesome monologues that will make his character forever remembered. You can tell Oliver Stone really loves Wallstreet, he seems to really grasp it. And for a person who doesn't really understand the going-ons, it was good introduction to that world.
Solid film. Can't believe I waited so long to watch this movie. Good Concept, Good execution!
