Review of Wall Street (1987) by Maksim B — 23 Sep 2010
One of the 80s classics which could be enjoyed over and over again for a thousand time, especially when one is warming up for the second installment, 23 years later.
A fine and compelling story about morality, ambition, greed, success and failure. What really makes Wall Street a legendary movie is the sledgehammering dialogues between Martin Sheen and Michael Douglas and of course the unrepeatable performance of the latter as Gordon Gekko. Very rarely a movie character has achieved such an iconic status such as the one of Gordon Gekko.
A must see, especially if you are warming up for the second installment :).
