Review of Walking and Talking (1996) by Maria U — 28 Jan 2011
This small movie was Nicole Holofcener's directorial debut, that would later define her movies as something like "slice of life chick flicks". The director treats her subjects with a light touch and the result is a film where nothing extraordinary happens, but gives the viewer a good insight about human relations, particularly friendship between women.
Funny, touching, and very real.
