Shocking for it's real on screen killing of animals and it's full frontal nudity scenes of Jenny Agutter (who was actually only 15 at the time!) One of director Nicholas Roeg's finest features.
The photography of the Australian outback (and all it's weird and wonderful inhabitants) is fantastic. A very downbeat movie on the whole - once seen, not forgotten.
