Review of Walkabout (1971) by Edd B — 25 Feb 2006
Definetly art house. The music was good but the story-line was profound and pretencios. It reminded me of the sixties films which believed themselves to be vey inteligent but were ultimatly pointless. Despite what I siad this film is definetly a cult for a reason.
It realy gave me that feeling of wanting to get involved with films. Nicolas Roeg was amazing with his directing and the the scenery and camera work was just out of this world amazing.
