Review of Walk the Line (2005) by Senor C — 30 Jul 2011
This is an enjoyable movie, and before you question me I am a fan on johnny Cash. The story is good, and never has a moment where you feel nothing is being added to the movie or a scene in which nothing happens.
The acting is top notch, with performances played with real passion, it seems the actors wanted to make this a great movie and not just something to do to get a huge paycheck. Everything you wanted to know about the man himself is in here, from his younger days to his final ones, although this is not shown.
My one qualm with this movie is that it is on for a quite lengthy amount of time, maybe this should have been a focus on Johnny's most successful years? Apart from that I cannot fault this movie, and I implore you to watch it, even if you aren't the biggest Johnny Cash fan you will still enjoy this hugely.
