Phoenix's performance is nothing short of amazing. Terrific channeling of Johnny Cash. A few times when he was singing, I actually thought they dubbed in Cash. A fine film, and an epic performance.
Excellent chemistry between the leads, and I am not a big Witherspoon fan. Well worth watching.
