Review of Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price (2005) by Kenneth H — 30 May 2008
It's not as good another Bob Greenwald movie I've seen, Outfoxed. While it's very informative, this movie really drags on and is quite boring. Unlike Outfoxed, it seems pretty cut-and-dry and unembellished, and moreover it felt poorly put together and cheaply made.
As a result it's not as fun a movie to watch. Also, the doom-feeling scenes (e.g. "WAL-MART COSTS TOWN $15 BILLION DOLLARS") were really tacky and unnecessary, and the score was oddly loud and distracting at times.
