I don't give 5 stars lightly. Definitely in my top ten. Groundbreaking approach to rotoscope animation, impeccable script (yes, it can appear at first blush as pretentious and pseudo-intellectual..
.it's not), and truly/actually/really "profound" in it's message. Absolutely remarkable. Also, I<3 Richard Linklatter soooooo much. One of the top 5 (living) film directors, IMHO.
