Just watched this tonite - it's a must watch! extremely well done with none of the usual cliches - a mature movie about sid's coming of age. very relevant, fresh and modern. and the best part is - the movie captures perfectly that yearning/ wandering feeling one gets when you first venture out into the world on your own.
and if you're lucky you get to 'grow up' in one of the big cities in the world. beauty history life in all it's grime but also - made fresh by being seen through young and open eyes. you fall in love with Mumbai in this movie - konkana is as usual perfect - sid was a surprise - he can act and was very well cast.
my fave? revisiting Rahul khanna - yum. remember him? earth 1947? trip worth taking for sure!
