Review of Wake Up Sid (2009) by Komal S — 03 Jan 2010

Definitely adds a new flavor to the Indian film industry. Many basic, bollywood-stereotypical storyline concepts are tied together and given a new fresh turn to keep the story interesting. The movie makes some good pace in the beginning of the middle and maintains it up through the end; though it tends to get a little boring. Scenes could be more touching. The film also maintains a realistic factor and the melodramatic level is low.

Overall a good movie and worth the watch.
