'Wake in Fright' is a truly nightmarish movie about school teacher John Grant, who can't leave the outback mining town Bundanyabba after losing all his money playing two-up; getting a lift with a truck driver to the city, putting a rifle to his head and squeezing the trigger, he still ends up back at 'The Yabba' having to face the rough, alcoholic locals - horrifying!
