A lopsided critique of the problems of education. The kids and the families are alright, the issue is the teachers and the unions, the film claims. Peers matter. Attitudes matter. Great teachers will fail in harsh environments.
The Lake Woebegone view that all students can proceed at the same pace, that tracking is not appropriate, is misinformed.
