Review of Waiting for "Superman" (2010) by Tavis B — 12 Jul 2011
Waiting for Superman is a powerful indictment on the educational system, looking at the statistical facts, but also giving tragic personal accounts of those forced to struggle within it. I especially enjoyed the willingness of Davis Guggenheim, seemingly a liberal director, to criticize the out of control nature of the teachers' unions, which are at the heart of the problem.
