Although it's portrayal of charter schools could be more nuanced, Waiting for Superman remains an eye opening documentary about the problems our public schools are facing, and the power of dedicated teachers.
The scenes that focus on the lottery that children must sit through to make it into high ranking charter schools are nail biting.
